[Global Economic Times] The Pocheon Agricultural Foundation under Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province, will hold the ‘Grand Festival of Agricultural Specialty Products’ at the Pocheon Sports Complex on the 26th and 27th.

The festival is intended to promote the region's excellent agricultural and specialty products, and various events will be held, including the declaration ceremony of 'Pocheon Full', an integrated Pocheon agricultural and livestock products brand.

On the first day, the 26th, there will be a pre-ceremony performance, followed by an agricultural and livestock product declaration ceremony and a ginseng kimchi making event by the Gaeseong Ginseng Cooperative.

On the 27th, a yard play performance, citizen singing contest, and prize drawing will be held.

A traditional liquor promotion center and world food booths will also be operated at the event venue.

An official from the festival executive committee said, “We hope to contribute to revitalizing the local economy by promoting the value and excellence of Pocheon agriculture and promoting direct transactions between local farmers and consumers.”
