Megazone Cloud signs AI cloud agreement with Saudi Aramco

[Global Economic Times] On the 13th, Cho Joon-hee, Chairman of the Korea Software Industry Association (KOSA), visited the headquarters of oil company Aramco in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, along with officials from domestic cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) companies such as Megazone Cloud, Upstage, and Rutton Technologies. KOSA announced on the 21st that the visit was made.
KOSA and Megazone Cloud proposed Korea's sovereign AI and cloud model to Saudi officials as a way to drive Saudi economic growth and innovative technology.
In particular, Megazone Cloud signed a memorandum of understanding with Aramco on cooperation in research and operation of AI cloud.
This visit is a follow-up to the memorandum of understanding for cooperation in AI and digital economy development signed between KOSA and Aramco last May.
KOSA Chairman Cho Joon-hee said, "The world's attention is focused on Aramco and Saudi Arabia, which are leading innovation in all industries with AI and digital technology beyond the energy industry." “We look forward to accelerating digital innovation,” he said.
