The Sejong Technopark (President Yang Hyun-bong, hereinafter referred to as "Sejong TP") announced that it successfully hosted the "2026 Sejong Food Industry Networking and Technology Exchange Seminar" on the 22nd at the Blackstone Belle Foret Resort in Jeungpyeong, North Chungcheong Province.

Attended by approximately 50 people—including executives and employees from 25 local bio and food companies, as well as representatives from organizations such as the Daejeon-Sejong Regional Small and Medium Venture Startup Administration, Korea University, and Hongik University—the event aimed to share technological and policy trends in food tech and regionally linked industries, strengthen the foundation for industry-academia-research-government cooperation, and discover field-oriented corporate support models.

The event featured detailed guidance on corporate support directions, future plans, and outcome reporting methods, followed by a technology exchange seminar designed to improve perceptions of local food companies and advance the industry, as well as a roundtable discussion to listen to on-site business challenges.

Meanwhile, guest lectures were held to enhance participants' understanding and practical capabilities:

"Introduction to Support Policies for Small and Medium Enterprises" to help local SMEs navigate available support.
"AI-Driven Marketing Strategies for Food Enterprises: Practical On-Site Application" to strengthen digital and AI-based marketing operational competencies.
"R&D Innovation Strategies Leading the Future Food Industry" to share future directions for research and development innovation within the sector.
Sejong TP President Yang Hyun-bong stated, "I hope this exchange event serves as a practical starting point for food companies and related organizations to share on-site challenges and elevate their AI, digital technology, and R&D capabilities." He added, "Sejong TP will continue to provide tailored support based on the voices of businesses to enhance the competitiveness of the regional food industry."
