The final round of the ‘2026 K-Pop World Festival,’ where K-pop fans from around the world compete with their skills, will be held on October 18 in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do.

Co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Changwon Special City and organized by the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), this event marks its 15th anniversary this year. About 1,700 teams from 57 overseas diplomatic missions across 54 countries participated in the regional preliminaries, and ultimately 6 teams from 6 countries advanced to the finals.

In the finals, representative teams from Peru, France, Ethiopia, Ukraine, Tanzania, and Kyrgyzstan will perform alongside K-pop artists such as Click-B, ONF, Lee Mujin, Na Tae-joo, and FIFTY FIFTY.

The performance will take place at 5:00 p.m. on October 18 at the Changwon Plaza special stage, and on-site admission tickets can be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis for 5,000 seats via 'NolTicket' starting October 1. The final stage is scheduled to be broadcast to 140 countries through KBS and KBS WORLD in the future.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs plans to continue the overseas expansion of K-culture, including K-pop, by promoting various cultural events centered around its overseas diplomatic missions.
