London, UK – K-pop sensation Rosé, a member of the global girl group Blackpink, has narrowly missed out on securing the number one spot on the UK Official Singles Chart once again.
Her collaborative track with American pop star Bruno Mars, "Apartment (APT.)", held steady at number two on the Official Singles Top 100 chart for the week ending January 23rd.
Despite making a significant leap of 26 places in the weeks prior, reaching the highest position ever for a Korean female soloist on this prestigious chart, "Apartment" was unable to overtake the current chart-topper.
Expectations were high for Rosé to claim the top spot, especially after her impressive climb up the charts. However, the competitive nature of the UK music scene prevented her from securing the coveted number one position.
