Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association to Host 2025 Math and Physics Competition

The Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) will hold the "2025 Math and Physics Competition" nationwide on the 5th of next month.
Marking its 25th year, this competition will be jointly hosted in Northern California by the Silicon Valley Chapter (President Kang Kwan-seok) and the Berkeley Chapter (President Lee Jae-yong).
The Math and Physics Competition, organized by KSEA, aims to enhance Korean students' mathematical and scientific thinking skills and foster their creative problem-solving abilities. It attracts many participants every year.
The "Math and Physics Competition" will be conducted simultaneously nationwide on April 5th. In Northern California, it will be held at the Silicon Valley KOTRA (3003 N. 1st Street, San Jose, CA 95134). The math competition is open to students from 4th to 11th grade and will begin at 11 AM. The physics competition is open to students from 9th to 12th grade and will begin at 9:30 AM.
The 2025 Math and Physics Competition is sponsored by Hanwha Group and the Overseas Koreans Agency. Top performers among the national winners will have the opportunity to participate in the Hanwha Group-hosted Math Olympiad and receive Hanwha scholarships.
Registration for the 2025 Math and Physics Competition is open until March 31st through the registration website. When registering, participants can select their preferred chapter.
Chapter President Kang Kwan-seok stated, "The Silicon Valley Chapter is offering a $35 registration fee refund to those who register as members of the KSEA Silicon Valley Chapter to encourage greater participation from Korean youth. We hope many students will participate and grow into excellent scientists in the future."
The Silicon Valley Chapter plans to award prizes to the top three students in each grade for both the math and physics competitions, totaling 27 awardees.
