Recruitment for Designation of Preliminary Social Enterprises in the Second Half Begins

Chungcheongnam-do announced on the 16th that it will embark on the application process for the "2026 2nd Chungnam-type Preliminary Social Enterprise Designation," which will lead the realization of social values and revitalization of the local economy, from the 18th until the 8th of next month.
Following the designation of 9 companies in the first half of the year, the province plans to spur the establishment of a social solidarity economy ecosystem within the province by additionally discovering and fostering promising companies as preliminary social enterprises through this second-half recruitment.
The targets for preliminary social enterprise designation are corporations and organizations in the province that meet the 5 designation requirements according to the Ministry of Employment and Labor guidelines (△ Organizational form △ Realization of social purpose △ Performance of business activities △ Provision of articles of association △ Compliance with current laws and completion of education).
Designated enterprises will receive administrative and financial support during the 3-year designation period, such as △ Eligibility to apply for the Chungnam Social Economy Fund, △ Support for moving into the Chungnam Social Economy Innovation Town, △ Eligibility for priority purchase by public institutions, and △ Social enterprise growth consulting and distribution/sales support.
The province will proceed with the public notice and application reception for 21 days from the 18th to the 8th of next month, and plans to announce the final results in November after on-site inspections, document reviews, and a designation screening committee next month.
Prior to the public offering application, the province held the "'2026 2nd Chungnam-type Preliminary Social Enterprise Designation Plan Briefing" on the 16th to provide detailed guidance on application methods and screening criteria.
Jeon Geun-hwan, Head of the Social Solidarity Economy Division of the Province, said, "We will further solidify the social solidarity economy ecosystem in the province by actively discovering promising corporations and organizations in the second half," adding, "We ask for much interest and participation from corporations and organizations in the province in this recruitment notice."
