Gold Prices Continue to Climb in Nepal

KATHMANDU – Gold prices in Nepal have been on a steady upward trend since Tuesday, with another increase recorded today (Thursday). The price of gold has risen by 500 rupees per tola compared to Wednesday's rate.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, gold is now being traded at 171,000 rupees per tola, up from 170,500 rupees per tola on Wednesday. This follows a 700 rupee increase on Tuesday and an 1,100 rupee jump on Wednesday.
Silver prices have also seen a slight rise. The precious metal, which was traded at 1,985 rupees per tola on Wednesday, is now being sold at 1,995 rupees per tola, the Federation reported.
