Furthermore, it meticulously recreates the sensory experience of a dynamic port environment, encompassing variations in weather such as rain and wind, the movement of waves, the maneuvering of vessels, and ambient sounds. This level of realism ensures that trainees are thoroughly prepared for the diverse challenges encountered in their daily tasks.

Beyond its deployment at SVTI, SAAM Terminals maintains a significant operational presence in Chile, with facilities in San Antonio, Iquique, Antofagasta, and Corral. Demonstrating a proactive approach to knowledge transfer, four experienced crane operators have already undergone intensive training in Canada. These individuals will now serve as key peer trainers, disseminating their expertise on Ship-to-Shore (STS) and Mobile Harbor Crane (MHC) systems to their colleagues within Chile.
