Seoul, South Korea – KB Kookmin Bank has announced that it has been named the most customer-satisfied commercial bank in South Korea for the 18th consecutive year in the 2024 National Customer Satisfaction Index (NCSI) survey conducted by the Korea Productivity Center.
The NCSI, a joint development between the Korea Productivity Center and the University of Michigan, is a widely recognized benchmark for measuring customer satisfaction. KB Kookmin Bank has consistently ranked first in the commercial banking sector since the survey's inception, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.
The bank attributes its continued success to various initiatives aimed at enhancing customer convenience and satisfaction. These include the introduction of new physical branches such as the "Six O'Clock Bank" and "Lunchtime Intensive Consultation" services, as well as the expansion of digital banking through the "KB Star Banking" platform. Additionally, the bank has implemented a Net Promoter Score (NPS) management system to gain valuable insights into customer experiences and make data-driven improvements.
"We will continue to listen to our customers and strive to improve our services based on their feedback," said a spokesperson for KB Kookmin Bank.
The bank's recognition in the NCSI survey highlights its ability to adapt to evolving customer needs and expectations in a highly competitive banking industry.
