Singapore will be the focal point for critical discussions on climate change response in the Asia-Pacific region as Montgomery Asia announces the 'APAC Earth Observation Forum' on April 10, 2025. This forum aims to address the escalating risks of climate change, build resilience, and develop tangible solutions for a climate-safe future.
The event will gather policymakers, solution providers, risk assessment experts, businesses, and community representatives from climate-vulnerable areas. Prominent speakers, including Salote Viti, Chair of the Pacific GIS and Remote Sensing User Conference, Dr. Will Cavendish, Global Digital Services Leader at Arup, and Sebastian Robertson, President of Earth Observation Australia, will share their expertise.
The forum is a key component of Geo Connect Asia, hosted by ASEAN mapping agencies, and will feature an exhibition with over 100 companies and a cross-industry conference platform. Supported by Geoawesome, the forum emphasizes the significance of Earth observation technologies.
Sebastian Robertson stated, "Earth Observation Australia is focused on expanding collaboration with industry, government, and research partners in the region. Geo Connect Asia provides a vital platform to connect, share insights, and advance the role of Earth observation in informed decision-making."
This forum is expected to strengthen collaborative efforts in the Asia-Pacific region against climate change and promote sustainable futures. Registration and details are available at www.geoconnectasia.com, with early bird discounts until March 21, 2025.
