The Bali Tango Holiday, a special cultural and artistic event, is returning for its 7th edition. The event will take place over eight days from April 25 to May 2, 2026, in Ubud, Bali. Led by world-renowned tango instructors Emilie and Pablo Tegli, this event will offer participants a unique experience that blends tango with the beautiful culture of Bali.
The main program for this Tango Holiday includes tango workshops and milongas. Participants will learn intricate techniques and the essence of tango from the two instructors during a deep, 7.5-hour tango workshop. In addition, there will be nightly milongas where participants can dance freely and connect with tango lovers from all over the world.
Beyond tango, there are a variety of activities available for a deeper immersion into the local Balinese culture. Participants will stay for seven nights at a 4-star hotel surrounded by rice paddies, where they can enjoy the peaceful nature of Bali. The program also includes a purification ritual at the sacred Sebatu Temple, traditional Balinese massage, cooking classes, and a workshop on making 'Canang Sari,' the offerings Balinese people make to the gods. A welcome dinner with a traditional Balinese dance performance will provide unforgettable memories for the participants.
The Bali Tango Holiday is more than just a dance lesson; it's a new form of artistic vacation that combines travel, relaxation, and cultural exchange. It’s a special opportunity to cleanse your mind and body in beautiful natural surroundings and find new vitality in the passion of tango.
Registration is currently open. Inquiries can be made via email at emiliequiroga@hotmail.com or WhatsApp at +33 6 66 69 48 00. The 7th edition promises an even richer program than before and is expected to be an unmissable festival for those interested in tango and Balinese culture.
We hope that many people will be able to immerse themselves in the charm of tango and the mystical atmosphere of Bali through this opportunity. This event will be more than just a time to dance; it will be a valuable experience to find inspiration for life and build new relationships.
