Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea - In a bid to cultivate future talent in the burgeoning field of artificial intelligence robotics, a special Children's Day Festival featuring robots will be held on May 4, 2025, at Bucheon Techno Park Building 401.

To commemorate Children's Day, all programs on this day will be offered free of charge to children and their accompanying families. The festival will provide an engaging experience through AI robot competition trials, AI robot-related activities, and free admission to the RoboPark exhibition hall.

Notably, this event serves as a unique opportunity to preview the categories for the upcoming 8th AI Robot Competition, scheduled for September 27th. Organizers aim to spark children's interest in robotics by offering hands-on experiences with the competition's challenges.

The AI Robot Competition trials will feature diverse categories such as humanoid sports, missions, and four-legged robots, offering a glimpse into the exciting world of competitive robotics. Furthermore, AI-integrated robot experiences will include demonstrations and interactive sessions with dual-arm robots, packing robots, and even a robot caricature artist, showcasing the practical applications of AI in robotics. Participation in these trials and experiences will be available through on-site registration, eliminating the need for prior booking.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, participants can earn special souvenirs featuring Bucheon RoboPark characters by completing various missions, such as event participation and satisfaction surveys. These limited-edition mementos will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Shin Dong-hak, Director of the Bucheon Industry Promotion Foundation (Bucheon RoboPark), emphasized the institution's commitment to fostering scientific and cultural growth among local youth.
