Buyeo-gun announced that four individuals who contributed to the vitalization of the local social solidarity economy received awards at the "2026 Chungnam Social Solidarity Economy Festival," held on the 5th at the Chungnam Social Economy Innovation Town in Cheongyang-gun.

This event was designed to share the achievements of Chungnam's social solidarity economy and strengthen the foundation for public-private cooperation, featuring various programs including a grand debate chaired by the provincial governor, a commemorative ceremony, and a social solidarity economy forum.

On this day, four officials from Buyeo-gun who have realized social values alongside the local community and contributed to the development of the social solidarity economy were honored with awards.

The awardees are: ▲Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Assembly Chairperson's Award: Kim Hyung-chun (CEO of Buyeo Welfare Village Co., Ltd.) and Seon Young-sook (Secretary General of the Chungcheongnam-do Social Enterprise Association); ▲National Assembly Member's Award: Jung Yeo-joo (CEO of Let's Play in Baekje Co., Ltd.); and ▲Chungcheongnam-do Superintendent of Education's Letter of Appreciation: Jung Chan-seok (Manager at the Chuin Cooperative).

CEO Kim Hyung-chun has worked to improve housing welfare for vulnerable groups and the living environment of local residents through home repair and cleaning social services. Secretary General Seon Young-sook contributed to the vitalization of social enterprises by supporting exchanges and cooperation among social enterprises within the province. In addition, CEO Jung Yeo-joo contributed to boosting local tourism through educational and experiential content utilizing local historical and cultural resources, while Manager Jung Chan-seok has dedicated himself to vitalizing the local community through the planning of local tourism products and the development of cultural contents.

An official from Buyeo-gun stated, "We congratulate those who have created warm changes in the local community on their awards," adding, "We will continue to pay attention and provide support so that the social solidarity economy can take root as a new growth engine for the region."
