AI-converged contents showcased at TIFFCOM, alongside special lectures by industry experts from global enterprises such as SEGA and ANIPLEX to explore industry trends and career pathways.
The Chungnam Global Contents Agency (Director Kim Yeon) organized an overseas training program in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, from October 27 to 30, for 10 members from two outstanding project teams of the Chungnam New Content Internship.
This overseas training program was conducted as part of the 2026 Chungnam Regional Specialized Content Development Support Project. It targeted two selected teams out of eight participating in the New Content Internship, which provides hands-on experience in AI content production. The program was designed to help participants understand the global content market and sharpen their practical senses by observing overseas industry trends firsthand.
During the program, participants visited major content industry sites in Japan to examine business strategies and the latest trends among global companies. Notably, visits to industry sites such as Google Japan and teamLab, combined with special lectures by experts from global entertainment companies like SEGA and ANIPLEX, provided insights into AI technology adoption cases, corporate cultures, and practical competencies required for international employment.
Furthermore, at TIFFCOM (Tokyo Content Market) held in Tokyo, the participants exhibited their AI-converged content projects, which they had planned and produced during the internship. Showcasing their creative works to overseas industry professionals allowed them to verify the global market potential of regional contents and experience content distribution and IP business structures on-site.
Additionally, participants shared their portfolios—featuring their AI content production capabilities and project execution experiences—with global content enterprises, exploring possibilities for future international collaboration and employment connections. This established a foundation for translating practical competencies accumulated through education and internships into the global content industry.
Director Kim Yeon stated, "This overseas training is highly meaningful as local talents presented their self-produced content in international markets and experienced the pulse of the global content industry on-site. We will continue focusing on practical talent development so that regional talents can leverage their AI-based content creation skills to compete globally beyond the domestic market."
