SEOUL, South Korea – J-Hope of the global sensation BTS is set to release his second digital single of the year, "MONA LISA," on March 21st at 1 PM KST. This comes just two weeks after the release of his digital single "Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)" on March 7th.
"MONA LISA" is a hip-hop R&B track that playfully compares an attractive person to the renowned masterpiece "Mona Lisa." J-Hope participated in the songwriting process himself. His agency stated that the song conveys the message that true charm lies in the uniqueness each individual possesses, rather than external beauty.
J-Hope surprised fans by revealing the "MONA LISA" performance at his solo concert "j-hope Tour 'HOPE ON THE STAGE' in BROOKLYN," held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, USA on March 14-15. After the performance, J-Hope expressed his affection for his fans, stating, "ARMY is my masterpiece."
Following the concert in Brooklyn, J-Hope will continue his tour with 12 performances in six cities, including Chicago, Mexico City, and Oakland. In April, he is scheduled to become the first Korean solo artist to perform at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, with concerts on April 5th and 7th.
