On November 6, an industrial site investment briefing (IR) will be held for overseas investors participating in the "2026 Invest Korea Summit," targeting companies that have shown interest in Busan's industrial infrastructure and investment attraction projects.
Visits include the Prestige BioPharma Innovative Discovery Center (IDRC), the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority, and the Eco Delta City and Busan North Port Redevelopment promotion halls.
The city plans to expand cooperation with overseas companies based on Busan's advanced manufacturing ecosystem and logistics environment, and will do its utmost in continuous communication and follow-up management to lead to actual investments.
Busan City (Mayor Jeon Jae-soo) announced that today (the 6th) it is inviting overseas investors participating in the "2026 Invest Korea Summit" to Busan to hold an industrial site investment briefing (IR) and introduce Busan's investment environment and major investment attraction projects in advanced industries. ○ The visiting investors are global investors with investment experience in Korea and abroad, as well as stakeholders in advanced industries, with participation from companies that have shown concrete interest in Busan's industrial infrastructure and investment attraction projects.
This industrial site investment briefing (IR) was arranged in connection with the "2026 Invest Korea Summit," the nation's largest foreign investment attraction event hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by KOTRA. ○ Now in its 22nd year, the "Invest Korea Summit" consists of conferences, investment notification ceremonies, M.AX Energy Strategy Forums, pan-governmental investment attraction corporate briefings, promotional booth operations, and industrial site IRs.
Through this industrial site investment briefing (IR), the city plans to promote Busan's strengths as a global investment hub by introducing its industrial ecosystem, manufacturing and technological competitiveness, major investment attraction projects, and support policies. ○ The itinerary will proceed in the order of the Prestige BioPharma research institute, the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority, the Eco Delta City promotion hall, and the Busan North Port Redevelopment promotion hall.
At the visiting institutions and sites, the experiences of foreign companies that have invested in Busan, major development projects, and investment environments by industrial location will be introduced. ○ Prestige BioPharma will share its investment experience as a foreign company that has invested in Busan. ○ The Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority will explain core investment competitiveness such as the port and logistics infrastructure, industrial sites, and global accessibility of the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone, while introducing major development projects and investment attraction projects. ○ At the Eco Delta City promotion hall, the investment environment of Eco Delta City—the nation's first distributed energy special zone and designated as an opportunity development zone last February—will be guided. It plans to focus on introducing stable power supply and energy cost competitiveness for large-scale power-demanding industries such as data centers, as well as incentive systems applied to tenant companies.
Mayor Jeon Jae-soo stated, "This event is an opportunity to directly introduce Busan's excellent investment environment and major projects to global investors and advanced industry business leaders," adding, "Based on Busan's advanced manufacturing ecosystem and logistics environment, we will expand cooperation with overseas companies and do our utmost in continuous communication and follow-up management to lead to actual investments."
