LEGOLAND Korea Resort has announced it will host the 'LEGO Festival' for six weeks starting in May, simultaneously with seven other LEGOLAND locations worldwide. This event is a new global campaign launched by the LEGO Group and Merlin Entertainments, the operator of LEGOLAND, to celebrate 'World Play Day' and emphasize the importance of play for children and families.
Notably, LEGOLAND Korea Resort is the only location in Asia to host this festival.
During the festival, LEGOLAND will offer a variety of experiences, including classes where visitors can learn LEGO brick techniques from Master Model Builders, exciting festival performances, and large-scale themed zones and events featuring LEGO IPs. Visitors can also enjoy unique food and beverages and purchase exclusive merchandise. The park will feature five new LEGO IP-themed zones, including a LEGO Dance Zone, Creativity Zone, and Gaming Zone, throughout the park.
Lee Soon-kyu, CEO of LEGOLAND Korea Resort, said, "Through this festival, LEGOLAND aims to deliver happiness and joy to children and families through play and strive to create a healthy family play culture in Korea."
