Achieved Grade A across all areas in 2022 and 2025... The only facility in South Chungcheong Province among 12 child residential facilities nationwide
Buyeo-gun (Mayor Lee Yong-woo) announced on the 2nd that Samsin Neulpurun Dongsan, a child-rearing facility within its jurisdiction, obtained Grade A (the highest rating) in the '2025 Social Welfare Facility Evaluation' organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Social Service Agency, achieving Grade A for 7 consecutive times.

The social welfare facility evaluation is conducted every three years to ensure transparency in facility operations and improve the quality of welfare services. It comprehensively evaluates five areas: ▲Facility Environment, ▲Financial and Organizational Operations, ▲Programs and Services, ▲Children's Rights, and ▲Overall Facility Operations.

In this evaluation, Samsin Neulpurun Dongsan scored 90 points or higher across all five areas to receive Grade A, marking an outstanding achievement of maintaining the top rating for 7 consecutive times from the 3rd evaluation through this 9th evaluation.

Notably, Samsin Neulpurun Dongsan was named as the sole child residential facility in South Chungcheong Province—and one of only 12 nationwide—to achieve consecutive Grade A ratings across all evaluation areas in both 2022 and 2025. Consequently, it was selected as an outstanding facility and will receive incentive support.

Samsin Neulpurun Dongsan has dedicated itself to protecting children's rights and creating a stable nurturing environment by operating systematic facility management, transparent financial administration, and growth-stage-tailored protection, upbringing, and independence support programs.

A facility official stated, "Achieving Grade A for 7 consecutive times is the result of the dedication of our staff and the interest of the local community combined. We will continue to do our best so that children can grow and become independent in a safe and happy environment."

An official from Buyeo-gun remarked, "This achievement is the result of our continuous efforts to create a child-centered nurturing environment. Moving forward, we will maintain close cooperation with child welfare facilities and continue our support for the healthy growth and rights protection of children in care."
