Lotte Chilsung Beverage Completes 5th Data Analytics Academy

Seoul, South Korea – Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on December 13th the successful completion of its 5th Data Analytics Academy, conducted in collaboration with Yonsei University's Graduate School of Information Science. The six-month program, which ran from late May to early December, aimed to equip employees with advanced data analysis skills.
The academy's curriculum encompassed a wide range of topics, including generative AI, structured and unstructured data analysis, and machine learning. Participants also engaged in a capstone project where they applied their newly acquired knowledge to real-world business challenges. This year, the program introduced a new generative AI course to reflect the latest industry trends and enhance the practical skills of employees.
A total of 21 employees from Lotte Chilsung Beverage, Lotte Wellfood, and Lotte GRS participated in the graduation ceremony held on December 7th. Since 2019, Lotte Chilsung Beverage has been consistently organizing data analytics academies, nurturing a total of 84 data analysis experts.
"By collaborating with other group companies and incorporating cutting-edge generative AI technology, we have significantly enhanced the effectiveness of our data analysis training," said a spokesperson from Lotte Chilsung Beverage. "We will continue to invest in data education programs and digital technologies to foster our employees' AI and data analysis capabilities and drive innovation within the company."
