INCHEON – The Incheon Intellectual Property Center of the Incheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry is launching the '2025 IP Narae Program' to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups in the region. The program aims to provide education and resources to help these businesses develop and protect their intellectual property (IP).
The program will focus on two key areas: IP Technology Strategy and IP Management Strategy. Participants will receive training from experts in these fields over a three-month period. The program will cover topics such as developing promising IP-related technologies, strategies for preventing disputes, and securing patent rights.
A total of 22 companies will be selected to participate in the program. Eligible companies include technology-holding SMEs within 7 years of establishment or SMEs in new industries within 10 years of establishment. New industries include artificial intelligence (AI), big data, 5G, blockchain, service platform, intelligent robot, smart manufacturing, system semiconductor, autonomous vehicle, bio, drone, and more.
The Incheon IP Center will provide selected businesses with up to 25 million won in support, which includes education and project execution expenses. The deadline for applications is March 11th.
"This program is a great opportunity for SMEs and startups in the region to strengthen their IP capabilities," said an official from the Incheon IP Center. "We encourage eligible businesses to apply and take advantage of this valuable resource."
