SEOUL – LG U+ has launched a new offline store dedicated to sports merchandise, just in time for the professional baseball season's opening. The inaugural store, "Daily Gap Jamsilsaenae Direct Store," is strategically located near Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul's Jamsil-dong district. This move transforms the existing Daily Gap Jamsilsaenae Direct Store into a hub for sports enthusiasts.
"Daily Gap" is designed as an experiential retail space, allowing customers to engage directly with a variety of products and services. With 28 locations nationwide, each store is tailored to reflect regional interests, featuring themes like K-pop, popular characters, and travel.
The newly revamped Jamsilsaenae store will operate as a "shop-in-shop," offering LG Twins uniforms and merchandise alongside traditional telecommunications services. This setup consolidates the previously scattered merchandise offerings found throughout the baseball stadium, providing a convenient, one-stop shopping experience for fans.
Baseball enthusiasts can now enjoy services such as uniform purchases, personalized markings, and patch attachments with ease. The Daily Gap store's layout is designed to minimize wait times, enhancing the overall shopping experience for sports fans.
Looking ahead, LG U+ plans to expand its collaboration with the LG Twins, developing exclusive merchandise featuring the company's characters. The company also aims to broaden its network of sports merchandise specialty stores, catering to fans across various regions.
Lee Hyun-seung, Managing Director of LG U+'s Subscription and Omni-Platform Division, stated, "We are excited to introduce the Daily Gap Jamsilsaenae Direct Store as an LG Twins collaboration, offering a unique experience for our sports-loving customers. We are committed to delivering exceptional experiences through strategic brand partnerships."
This initiative underscores LG U+'s dedication to providing innovative and engaging experiences for its customers, particularly within the passionate realm of sports fandom.
