Introducing Gyeongbuk Tourism Contents such as "MVTI" and "METI" at the Festival Site

The Gyeongbuk Culture & Tourism Organization (President Kim Nam-il, hereinafter referred to as the Organization) announced that it will participate in the "9th Gyeongju World Tea Culture Festival," held around the Bomun Lake Square in Gyeongju on October 3, to promote the diverse charms of Gyeongbuk tourism.

Marking its 9th anniversary this year, the Gyeongju World Tea Culture Festival is an event where domestic and international tea cultures from countries such as Korea, China, and Japan can be experienced in one place. By combining Gyeongju's millennium-old history and culture with tea culture, the festival features a variety of programs, including global tea tastings and learning tea etiquette.

The festival will feature diverse tea-tasting sessions where visitors can directly taste and enjoy various teas, alongside colorful programs to experience traditional tea culture. In particular, harmonizing with the autumn scenery of Bomun Lake, the tea culture is expected to deliver a unique cultural tourism experience to citizens and tourists.

The Organization will operate a promotional booth at the festival site to introduce visitors to Gyeongbuk tourism contents, including "Gyeongbuk Travel MVTI" and "Gyeongbuk Gastronomy Travel METI," which are currently being promoted by the Organization.

"Gyeongbuk Travel MVTI" is a project that selects a new travel theme every month to discover and reinterpret Gyeongbuk's tourism resources, while "Gyeongbuk Gastronomy Travel METI" introduces Gyeongbuk's seasonal ingredients and local food culture as travel contents. Through this, the Organization plans to inform citizens and tourists visiting the festival about the stories embedded in Gyeongbuk's local tourism resources and flavors, thereby boosting interest in traveling to Gyeongbuk.
