Drone Spectacular Lights Up Ganjeolgot for Lunar New Year

Ulsan, South Korea – In a dazzling display of technology and tradition, Ganjeolgot, South Korea's most famous sunrise spot, hosted a spectacular drone light show on [date] to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Organized by the Ulsan Ulju Cultural Foundation and the Seosaengmyeon Residents' Association, the event drew crowds of spectators who were treated to a visual feast.
The evening kicked off with performances by popular singers, including the winners of the "Immortal Songs – Youth Microphone" competition, Park Ki-young, Song Claire, Park Seong-on, Kim Dana, and Sugeun. Local specialties from Seosaengmyeon were also available for attendees to sample.
The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the drone show, featuring 1,500 unmanned aerial vehicles that illuminated the night sky with breathtaking formations. The drones told the story of Haetdemi, a mythical figure representing the sun, and other local legends, creating a cinematic experience for the audience. The display also included a message of hope and unity, aimed at lifting spirits amid challenging times.
Lee Chun-geun, president of the Ulsan Ulju Cultural Foundation, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to bring the community together. "We are thrilled to have collaborated with the Seosaengmyeon Residents' Association to create a heartwarming event," he said. "It is our hope that this drone show will inspire hope and optimism in people's hearts."
