South Korean TV Personality and Former Athlete Woo Hee-joon Graduates from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law

SEOUL - Woo Hee-joon, a former South Korean national kabaddi team member and TV personality, has once again made headlines for her academic achievements, graduating from a prestigious U.S. law school.
On September 11, Woo shared photos on her social media account of herself in a graduation gown, celebrating her completion of a master's degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. Her joyful smile in the photos captured the celebratory moment.
This latest accomplishment adds to an already impressive academic record. Woo Hee-joon earned her bachelor's degrees in biomedical engineering and law from the University of Ulsan in 2021. The following year, she went on to complete a master's program at KAIST's Graduate School of Intellectual Property, graduating early. Her recent law degree from Northwestern further showcases her dedication and intellectual prowess.
Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, located in Chicago, Illinois, is a highly regarded institution with a history spanning over 160 years, founded in 1859. It is consistently ranked among the top law schools in the U.S. According to the 2024 U.S. News & World Report rankings, it was ranked 9th overall among all law schools and 3rd in tax law. In 2024, approximately 6,300 applicants vied for only about 240 spots, resulting in a competitive admission rate of 13.91%.
Woo Hee-joon is also known for her diverse background as a former national kabaddi player, a Miss Korea contestant, and a special forces soldier. While pursuing her studies, she appeared on the Channel A show The Iron Squad W and was recently a key player on the FC Wonder Woman team in the SBS reality show Kick a Goal.
