In a market where technological advancements occur at a rapid pace, smart televisions have firmly established themselves as the centerpiece of home entertainment. However, the premium, large-screen TV segment has witnessed a period of relative price stability at the beginning of this year. That is, until now. LG has recently shattered this calm by implementing a significant price reduction on its 75-inch LG 75QNED756RA model.
This 75-inch television, which typically commands prices well over €1,000 at major retailers like MediaMarkt, Electrónica Vicente, and PcComponentes, is now being offered by LG at an astonishing €945 through Ziwwie. This price drop represents a substantial saving for consumers seeking a high-quality, large-screen viewing experience. The LG 75QNED756RA combines Quantum Dot and NanoCell technologies to deliver superior color reproduction and optimized contrast, driven by its 4K α5 Gen6 processor with Artificial Intelligence. Its 4K Ultra HD screen, with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and QNED technology, ensures crisp, clear images with HDR10 Pro and local dimming. The television also features a 50Hz native refresh rate, a 20W sound system with AI Sound Pro and Dolby Digital Plus, and the webOS 23 operating system, providing access to a wide range of applications, as well as Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.
Not to be outdone, TCL has also entered the price war by reducing its impressive 75-inch TCL 75C805 model to €976. This television, another strong contender in the premium segment, typically retails around €1,000 at various stores, including Electrónica Vicente, Amazon, and Carrefour. The TCL 75C805 boasts a MiniLED 4K UHD 75-inch 10-bit screen, combining Quantum Dot technology and advanced HDR (Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG). Its 144Hz refresh rate, enhanced by 4000 PQI frequency technology, guarantees a smooth gaming experience. Internally, it is powered by a Quad Core processor with 52.7GB of internal memory. For immersive audio, it includes two speakers with a total power of 30W and Dolby Atmos, DTS Virtual-X, and Virtualization & Upmix technologies, all running on the Google TV operating system based on Android.
