Renowned fashion designer MINJUKIM has unveiled a magical new collection inspired by the iconic musical film, Wicked. The collaboration brings together the worlds of high fashion and fantasy, resulting in a stunning array of apparel and accessories that capture the essence of the beloved story.
MINJUKIM's signature romantic and ethereal aesthetic is evident throughout the collection, which features intricate details and whimsical graphics inspired by Wicked's captivating characters and enchanting storyline. The designer has reimagined the film's iconic scenes and color palette, transforming them into wearable art.
A standout piece is the "Wicked Hoodie," a cozy and stylish garment featuring a bold graphic design that seamlessly blends black, green, and pink. Adorned with sparkling crystals, the hoodie evokes the magical atmosphere of Oz. Another highlight is the "Fairy Wing Duffel Bag," inspired by Elphaba's iconic cape. Crafted from quilted fabric and organza, the bag features a unique triangular shape that resembles a pair of wings.
The collection also includes a variety of accessories, such as layered scrunchies adorned with jacquard and chiffon, and the brand's signature "Arc Fur Keychain & Bag Charm" reimagined with a green hue and silver accents to represent Elphaba.
"Quote from MINJUKIM designer about the inspiration behind the collection and their love for Wicked," "We wanted to create a collection that would transport our customers to the magical world of Oz and allow them to express their individuality through fashion."
The MINJUKIM x Wicked collection is available exclusively at the MINJUKIM online store and flagship store. To celebrate the launch, the brand is hosting a special pop-up event featuring original artwork and sketches from the design process.
