From star-studded trot singers to children’s heroes, the 2026 Yeosu World Island Fair site is transforming into this autumn’s ultimate stage.

The 2026 Yeosu World Island Fair Organizing Committee announced on the 21st that the EBS musical Evengers LIVE on Saturday the 24th and the Nameless Legend TOP 6 special concert on Sunday the 25th will be held sequentially at the Open Stage in the main exhibition venue.

October 24 (Sat): Children’s Heroes, the Musical ‘Evengers,’ Arrives at the Expo Site
Saturday belongs to the children. Evengers is a hero corps formed by major EBS characters, bringing together beloved TV favorites such as Lightning Man, Dduldul-i, and Bungbung-i, the Farting Bear, all on one stage. This musical, designed for parents and children of all generations to enjoy together, will be held twice on this day at 3:30 PM and 6:00 PM.

The venue will be packed with things to enjoy before and after the performances. In the Kids Zone, decorated as an air bounce playground, children can play to their heart's content, while the Picnic Zone offers a relaxing space for families. A flea market and a family-friendly recreation sports day will also take place, followed by a beer party for adults once the sun goes down.

Since the performances are scheduled for the afternoon, families with children are recommended to visit the expo site starting in the morning. At the Marine Ecosystem Island, visitors can get up close to seahorses and marine life in the aquarium. At the interactive exhibition hall, "Treasure Island," kids can slide down into a ball-pool ocean, pass through a trick-art cave, and solve missions to open the wizard's safe, transforming themselves into true explorers. It makes for a perfect day-long course: exploring islands and oceans in the morning, and singing along with the Evengers in the afternoon.

At 12:00 PM that day, the "Yeosu Marching Festival" will take place, with domestic and international marching bands parading cheerfully through the expo site. At 8:00 PM, visitors can view the spectacular fireworks launched by the Minam Cruise over the night sea of Yeosu, all from the comfort of the expo site.

October 25 (Sun): Trot Stars Set the Autumn Night Aglow with ‘Nameless Legend TOP 6’
Sunday night is dedicated to trot fans. At 6:00 PM, the Nameless Legend TOP 6—Sungri, Haru, Jang Han-byeol, Hwang Yoon-seong, Jeong Yeon-ho, and Lee Rune—will take to the single stage, each showcasing their unique charms, with guest singer Lee Ji-woo adding to the excitement. The autumn night, filled with trot melodies echoing over the Open Stage with the sea as a backdrop, is a scenery that can only be experienced at the Island Expo site.

Before the Nameless Legend performance, the stage will not rest during the day. A traditional Yeonhee dance drama is scheduled for 3:00 PM, followed by the "Island Friends Day" at 11:00 AM, 5:00 PM, and 7:00 PM—three separate sessions featuring traditional Tanzanian dance and music—filling the expo site with vibrant energy throughout the day.

A total of 4,000 admission tickets for the Nameless Legend performance will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis by waiting in line on-site that day.

More Than Just Performances

Even for those not visiting with family, the expo site is brimming with sights to see. At the International Exchange Island, the second-phase exhibition featuring participation from 17 overseas local governments allows visitors to experience islands from around the world all in one place. At Jobaldo Forest, visitors can catch a glimpse of the cycad flower, famously rumored to bloom only once in 100 years. After dark, the 360-degree media facade on Theme Island and the "Wishes Boats" floating along the waterways will light up the expo's night. The island expo site is the only place this autumn where visitors can completely fill their day from morning until night.

An official from the Organizing Committee stated, "We hope visitors who come for the performances will also take the opportunity to experience the world's islands and oceans," adding, "We hope the pleasant memories of this weekend will serve as an opportunity to reflect once more on the life, value, and future embraced by islands."

Meanwhile, the 2026 Yeosu World Island Fair, themed “Connecting Islands, the Sea, and the Future,” opened on September 5 and runs for 61 days through November 4 across Dolsan Jinmo District, Yeosu World Expo Site, and the areas of Gedo and Geumodo.
