It also helps with writing. It changes the content written by the user into a style such as ‘professional’, ‘concise’, or ‘friendly’.

Voice assistant Siri's language understanding ability has improved with AI help. Even if the user stutters a little, they can still understand what is being said. It was also possible to understand the ‘context’ of the conversation. By understanding the relationship and context between multiple subsequent requests, you can pinpoint what the user wants. Through this, users can receive the answers they want with simple instructions such as ‘How to share the Wi-Fi password with a friend’.

Call recording is also possible. You can start ‘recording during calls’ in the phone application (app). However, the person on the other end of the call is notified of this fact. After the call is over, you can create a summary and review the key points.

Smartphone manufacturers, including Apple, are trying to overcome sluggish sales by commercializing AI functions. Last January, Samsung Electronics introduced ‘Galaxy AI’. However, it is unclear whether Apple will be able to achieve notable performance improvement with Apple Intelligence.
