Seoul, South Korea – Rookie girl group ODD YOUTH is starting off 2025 with a busy schedule.
The group will be making consecutive appearances on major music shows, starting with Mnet's "M Countdown" on January 16, followed by KBS2's "Music Bank" on January 17, MBC's "Show! Music Core" on January 18, and SBS's "Inkigayo" on January 19. During these appearances, they will unveil their first performance of "Best Friendz," a track from their debut single released last November.
Ahead of their first stage of the new year, ODD YOUTH expressed their excitement, saying, "We're thrilled to start 2025 with 'Best Friendz,' the song that marked our debut. We hope our bright energy will be a great New Year's gift for our fans. We'll show you an even more grown-up side of ourselves this year."
The group has also been active on the global stage. On January 15, they released an English version of "Best Friendz" along with a performance video. Given that "Best Friendz" represents ODD YOUTH's identity, it is expected that the English version will help them reach a wider global audience.
ODD YOUTH has also demonstrated their growth potential through their first Japanese promotions. During their debut single release commemorative event held at Tower Records Shibuya on January 12 and 13, they interacted with local fans through various programs such as autograph sessions, mini-talks, member introductions, and games. Tower Records has actively supported their local promotions, recognizing the group's potential as the next-generation K-pop girl group and featuring large photo panels and music video screenings.
In this way, ODD YOUTH is steadily establishing their presence both domestically and internationally. With their first performance, the release of an English version, and overseas promotions, the group is accelerating their global growth. All eyes are on ODD YOUTH's activities in 2025.
