Gravity is currently conducting a Closed Beta Test (CBT) for "Ragnarok Online PLUS+", a new title that inherits the orthodoxy of the PC MMORPG "Ragnarok Online." This new title inherits the unique systems of the original "Ragnarok" IP while adding convenience tailored to a cross-platform environment supporting both mobile and PC. Novice users can preemptively grasp major growth paths and rules through the "News-Guide" bulletin board and the "Archive" webpage on the official website.

The Archive is the primary window to check out both before and after logging into the game. Linked via the official website, the Archive is a web encyclopedia that encompasses all in-game databases (DB). Users can check a total of 11 menus in the Archive, including Worldview, Game Introduction, Monster DB, Item DB, Card DB, NPC Story, NPC DB, Skill DB, Simulator, World Map, and BGM. Users can search for monster attributes, drop items, and card options, or pre-design stats and skill trees using the simulator.

It supports recommended hunting grounds by level range, optimal quest routes, guidance to major NPC locations, and automatic movement to destinations. Upon creating a character, adventures begin with the base job class, Novice. The control scheme supports mouse-click movement and targeting based on the PC version, alongside using keyboard shortcuts for skills and items.

During the growth process, the 6 core stats must be distributed according to job characteristics. STR increases physical attack power and carry weight limit, while AGI increases attack speed and evasion rate. VIT handles max HP and physical defense, and INT handles magic attack power and max SP. DEX is involved in ranged attack power, hit rate, and casting reduction, while LUK increases critical rate and complete evasion rate.

By leveling up both the Base Level and Job Level, players can advance to 1st-job classes, and upon satisfying certain conditions thereafter, progress into the higher-tier 2nd-job classes. To aid early-to-mid-game growth, paths are also provided to visit the "Paradise Group" quest office in each town to perform level-based subjugation quests and procure basic supply equipment.

Conquering memorial dungeons, which are instance dungeons, allows players to acquire unique equipment and enchantment materials. After clearing a dungeon, visiting a dedicated NPC allows for enchantments that grant additional options. In "MD Orc's Memory," players can obtain the Ring of Corruption and enchant it through the Suspicious Man NPC.

"MD Horror Toy Factory" is a structure where players obtain Old Parasol, Shadow Walk, Fresh Rose, and Celine's Ribbon, and entrust enchantments to the Black Beard Joe NPC. "MD Half Moon in the Day" is conducted by obtaining the Priest's Necklace and using the Temple Goods Administrator NPC. Monster cards acquired through hunting can be equipped into items with slots to add unique special abilities.

Combat support systems and economic elements also inherit the original methods. It provides the Alchemist-lineage exclusive artificial lifeform Homunculus, Qpets that build intimacy to gain passive effects, and a Mercenary Contract system to assist solo play. It also supports the Merchant-lineage privilege of opening private vending stalls and the cart storage system.

Cooperative hunting via equal distribution settings during party play and creating guilds by consuming Emperium are also possible. The Guide tab within the official website of "Ragnarok Online PLUS+" features detailed guides registered across a total of 22 items, including Reputation, Achievements, Crafting, and Map Information. Data and guide contents collected during this test period are subject to change in part depending on future official launch updates.
