The Samcheok Youth Center has announced it's recruiting students for a surfing program. This program is designed to provide young people with an opportunity to learn surfing, a new sport, and to get closer to nature.
This program is open to all Samcheok youth between the ages of 18 and 45 who have completed youth registration. The participation fee must be paid upfront and will be reimbursed later through a support fund.
The recruitment is for 20 participants, and the application period is from July 4th to July 17th. The selection results will be announced on July 18th.
Applications can be submitted after youth registration via the link (https://naver.me/GwS3nAf3) or the QR code on the poster.
This program aims to help young people improve both their physical and mental health through surfing, and to form networks with peers who share common interests. Participants will enjoy nature while learning to surf and will have time to communicate and interact through new experiences.
The training will take place on Saturday, July 26th, from 1 PM for approximately 2 hours at Jeungsan Beach. For other inquiries, please contact the Samcheok Youth Center at 033-572-1839.
