The Gyeongsangnam Office of Education announced on the 25th that starting with its May issue, the newsletter "Da Anjeonhae Gyeongnam Education" will be provided in various languages to help members of multicultural families easily understand everyday safety information.
Initially, it will be available in Chinese, Vietnamese, and English, considering the proportion of multicultural family members.
"Da Anjeonhae Gyeongnam Education" is a newsletter-style publication, similar to a school notice, that delivers safety information. It is published 10 times a year and distributed to each household.
Shin Seung-wook, head of the Provincial Office of Education's Safety Management Division, stated, "We have started providing foreign language services so that all members, including multicultural families, are not excluded from safety information, and we will gradually expand the supported languages in the future."
