The Advanced Analyst Program (AAP), a program designed to train risk management experts, will open on March 12th. The program is jointly run by the Sangnam Institute of Management at Yonsei University's Graduate School of Business and Risk Consulting Korea.
Celebrating its 23rd anniversary this year, the AAP is characterized by its case-centered curriculum. It pursues education that can be used in the field of practice, not theory. The number of graduates to date is 2,000. Financial institution risk and review divisions and corporate chief financial officers (CFOs) have gone through this course.
The lectures will focus on how to manage new risks that have arisen as the business environment has changed rapidly. You can learn how to select successful and failed companies, strategies to prevent insolvency, exchange rate fluctuations and risk management success/failure cases, and corporate valuation and business feasibility analysis methods. It also explores sustainable new financial information and decision-making cases, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) success/failure cases and risk issues.
The specific curriculum consists of a total of 15 sessions. For example, it examines 'Strategies for Responding to Hypercompetitive New Normal Crises', 'Global Issues and Korean Economy SWOT', and 'Cases of Successful and Failed Global Companies and Financial Institutions'. It also learns about 'Startup Failure Cases and Successful Investments', 'Fair Value Issues and Impact on B/S, I/S, C/F', and 'New Cash Flow Analysis and Decision Making'. Overseas workshops are also conducted in parallel.
The number of applicants for this recruitment (45th session) is 50. Education will be conducted once a week from the 12th of next month to June 25th. For application, please refer to the Sangnam Institute of Management website of Yonsei University's Graduate School of Business.
