A female police officer from the New Taipei City Police Department has been unjustly caught up in the "police officer sex tape leak scandal," which has recently caused a stir in society. The controversy began when a former male police officer from the Taipei City Police Department secretly filmed intimate videos of himself with a well-known female officer who had 100,000 followers. After they broke up, he leaked the videos and profited from them. It is reported that hundreds of people paid to purchase these videos, causing widespread shock.

When the scandal broke, Jen Yu-chen (曾羽榛), a female officer from the New Taipei Police Department known for her social media presence, was mistakenly identified as the victim by some media outlets. In response, Jen Yu-chen vehemently denied any involvement, stating, "I have no connection to this incident," and announced her intention to take legal action. She criticized the media's inaccurate reporting, calling it a severe defamation of her character.

The Full Story: Former Male Officer Illegally Filmed and Sold Videos 

According to a May 2024 prosecutor's investigation, the male police officer involved in the case used aliases such as "Ah-je" (아저) or "Jing Jie Feng Yun" (경계풍운) to sell sex tapes on social media platforms like Telegram. Each video was priced at 3,000 yuan (approximately 570,000 KRW). He promoted the videos as being from a "third-person perspective" with "clear faces and positions" and even added explicit comments about the female officer's body to entice buyers.

The female police officer who was the victim immediately reported the video leak to the police. The perpetrator was subsequently indicted on three charges: illegal filming of private videos, selling, and distributing obscene videos.

Jen Yu-chen's Outrage: "I Will Take Legal Action Against the Media for Defaming Me" 

As the scandal spread, Jen Yu-chen, a female police officer known as the "Flower of New Taipei" for her active social media presence, became an unfair target. Some media outlets connected her photos and name to the case, spreading misinformation to the public.

In a recent official statement, Jen Yu-chen said, "I have absolutely no connection to this incident. The Instagram story I posted a while ago was to clarify online rumors, but some media outlets misinterpreted it and wrongly linked my name and photos to the case. This is a severe act of misleading the public."

Despite her attempts to clarify the truth, her reputation was damaged by the false reporting, which left her furious. Jen Yu-chen added, "I will be taking legal action, and I hope the media will exercise self-restraint. Lastly, I want to thank all my friends who have shown concern for me."
