Strong wind advisories were also issued for the land areas of Jeju Island and Chujado.
In addition, gale warnings were in effect for the inner southern and southeastern distant seas and the outer southern distant seas of Jeju Island, while gale advisories were in effect for the eastern and southern coastal waters of Jeju Island and the western distant seas of the western South Sea.

Although strong wind advisories have been issued for Jeju's land areas, flights are currently operating normally. Among the 10 ferry services connecting Jeju to other regions, the Songlim Blue Ocean heading to Wando via Chujado and the Santa Monica heading to Jindo were canceled. The Queen Zenobia II heading to Mokpo, the Ocean Vista Jeju heading to Samcheonpo, the Silver Cloud heading to Wando, the Araon Jeju heading to Nokdong, and the Hanil Gold Stella heading to Wando were suspended, while the Queen Zenobia on the Mokpo route entered ship maintenance. The Hanil Gold Stella heading to Wando, departing at 8:40 AM today, and the Queen Mary heading to Mokpo, departing at 4:45 PM, will operate normally.
The Meteorological Administration advised that starting tonight, very strong winds will blow in the coastal waters off Jeju Island, and waves could rise to a maximum of 5 meters or higher, potentially elevating warnings to a gale warning. It urged vessels navigating or operating to exercise special caution. It also recommended refraining from approaching coastal areas, as high waves caused by swells may strongly push over breakwaters or rocks. Furthermore, the agency reported that strong winds exceeding 20 meters per second will blow over land areas until the morning of the day after tomorrow, urging thorough management of outdoor installations such as signboards and vinyl greenhouses, as well as crops.
