Cheonan Municipal Museum Recruits Participants for Exhibition Docent Training Program

The Cheonan Cultural Foundation (CEO Ahn Dong-soon, hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) announced on the 11th that it will begin recruiting participants for the Cheonan Municipal Museum Exhibition Docent Training Program starting July 14th.
This program will offer theory and practice-focused education to foster an understanding of exhibition docents and develop the necessary knowledge for exhibition commentary. The training will be conducted twice on the same topic, with the first session running from July to August and the second from November to December.
The curriculum includes:
The Role and Understanding of a Docent (Kim Hye-jung)
Flow and Understanding of Korean Contemporary Art (Kwon Young-jin)
Flow and Understanding of Korean Modern Art (Kwon Haeng-ga)
Docent Script and Speech (Han Yi-jun)
The training will take place every Thursday from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, from July 24th to August 14th, in the seminar room on the 2nd floor of the Cheonan Arts Center Culture Center.
Any adult aged 20 or over can participate, and the total recruitment is for 40 people. A certificate will be issued to those who attend the training course three or more times, and those who complete the program will receive extra points when applying as cultural volunteers for the Cheonan Municipal Museum next year.
