Daejeon Urban Development Corporation Recognized for Excellence in Public Data Provision for Third Consecutive Year

Daejeon, South Korea – Daejeon Urban Development Corporation (President Jung Guk-young) announced on February 18th that it has been selected as an "Excellent" institution for the third consecutive year in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's "2024 Public Data Provision Evaluation."
The Public Data Provision Evaluation is an annual assessment conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to evaluate the public data provision status of 679 institutions, including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions. The evaluation covers three areas: openness and utilization, quality, and management system. Based on the evaluation results, each institution is assigned a rating of Excellent, Average, or Needs Improvement.
In this year's evaluation, the corporation was recognized for its outstanding quality management efforts, including co-hosting a contest with Daejeon City and opening a large number of new datasets. As a result, the corporation has achieved an "Excellent" rating for three consecutive years since 2022. In particular, the quality area has achieved remarkable results, including obtaining the "2024 Public Data Quality Certification."

"We will continue to actively discover and open reliable, high-quality data to further contribute to the revitalization of the public data ecosystem."
