SINGAPORE – The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) will open its new ICA Services Centre (ISC) at 2 Crawford Street on April 7th. Located next to the existing ICA building, the ISC promises a more streamlined experience for the public. Operating hours will remain from 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
The key feature of the new centre is the “single touchpoint” service model. Instead of navigating different floors for various services, visitors will be able to access a comprehensive suite of services at one location within the ISC.
Starting in July, self-service kiosks will be available for identity card and passport collection, eliminating the need for prior appointments. The ICA will release further details about this service at a later date.
To facilitate the move, counter services at the current ICA building will be suspended from April 1st to 4th. This period will allow ICA officers to finalize preparations for the ISC, including system stress tests and process fine-tuning. During this transition, walk-in services will be unavailable, except for urgent cases. These include passport applications for urgent travel, oath-taking for minors turning 22 between April 1st and 6th, and completion of formalities for immigration passes expiring between April 1st and 6th. These urgent requests will be assessed and handled on a case-by-case basis.
The ICA encourages the public to use public transport to reach the new centre, noting its proximity to Lavender MRT station, just a two-minute walk away. Driving to the ISC is discouraged as public parking at the ICA carpark will be unavailable until 2027 due to ongoing construction. Alternative public parking options are available along North Bridge Road, Crawford Lane, and French Road. A pick-up and drop-off bay will be available at the ISC entrance.
