Vinyl Cooltural Lands at the Port of Asunción

ASUNCIÓN, Paraguay – The highly anticipated record fair "Vinilo Cooltural" (Vinyl Cooltural) is set to take place at the Port of Asunción this coming Saturday, April 5th, starting at 3:00 PM. The event is free and open to the public.
Hosted at the Asunción Port Cultural Center, "Vinilo Cooltural" will feature a diverse selection of vinyl records alongside vibrant music spun by renowned local DJs.
A total of 15 record vendors will participate in this edition, showcasing and selling an extensive collection of over 4,000 records. Prices for the records will vary depending on their condition, origin, and rarity, ranging from 5,000 Guaraníes to upwards of 300,000 Guaraníes.
Notably, the event will feature a lineup of talented DJs, including the female DJ crew "Hijas de Púa" (Daughters of the Needle), as well as Mono, DJ Lilo, Ricardo Ilculese, and Arcoiris Analógico (Analog Rainbow), promising a rich musical experience. Additionally, a special "Metal Feria" (Metal Fair) for metal music enthusiasts will be held with a special guest.
"Vinilo Cooltural" is a regular monthly event held on the first Saturday of each month, and it has long been a gathering place for music lovers and collectors to buy and exchange not only vinyl records but also CDs and cassette tapes.
While usually held at "Hopping Restó Tap" in the Villa Morra neighborhood, this edition will exceptionally take place at the Port of Asunción, aiming to provide a unique experience for an even wider audience.
Initiated nine years ago, "Vinilo Cooltural" has traveled to various locations in Asunción and other cities like Ciudad del Este. Attendees can discover a wide range of records, from newly released albums to decades-old used records and rare finds.
More than just a record trading event, "Vinilo Cooltural" serves as a community hub where music enthusiasts can connect and interact. Participants share memories associated with music and discuss various record editions, fostering a strong sense of camaraderie.
This upcoming "Vinilo Cooltural" at the Port of Asunción is expected to offer music fans a valuable opportunity to discover cherished records, share their favorite music, and gain new musical inspiration.
