Anaheim, CA – Disneyland has announced the impending closure of its beloved Red Car Trolley attraction at Disney California Adventure. The last day of operation for the nostalgic trolley will be February 8, 2025. This closure is necessary to accommodate the expansion of Avengers Campus, a popular Marvel-themed land.
The expansion, announced at the D23 Expo this year, will introduce two thrilling new attractions: Avengers: Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab.
Avengers: Infinity Defense: This immersive ride will transport guests across the Marvel Universe to battle alongside the Avengers against the formidable King Thanos.
Stark Flight Lab: This innovative experience will pair riders with Avengers to test cutting-edge superhero technology.
To make way for this expansion, the backstage area, including the Red Car Trolley barn, will undergo significant construction.
The Red Car Trolley, a beloved attraction since its 2012 debut, has been a nostalgic journey through Buena Vista Street and Hollywood Land. It has provided guests with a unique way to explore the park and immerse themselves in the magic of Disney.
While the closure of the Red Car Trolley is bittersweet, the expansion of Avengers Campus promises to deliver exciting new adventures for Marvel fans.
