Carlos A. Gallardo, born in Corrientes, Argentina, in 1967, stands as a prominent figure in visual arts education and practice. He holds a professorship in sculpture at the esteemed Alfredo Pertile National Higher Institute of Fine Arts (ISPEA) in Resistencia, Chaco, where his administrative acumen was also demonstrated through his tenure as Deputy Director of Secondary Education. A certified cultural management technician, Gallardo has imparted his knowledge as a teacher at both secondary and tertiary levels within the ISPEA Higher Institute of Fine Arts.

His expertise has been sought as a jury member for numerous painting and sculpture competitions across the Chaco, Corrientes, and Formosa provinces. Furthermore, he has enriched the artistic landscape through the conduction of sculpture and painting courses and workshops in Chaco and Corrientes, and his artistic contributions have been recognized with multiple awards in the realms of painting and sculpture.

Gallardo's engagement with the art world extends to curatorial and administrative roles, having served as the Director of the Dr. Juan Ramón Vidal Provincial Museum of Fine Arts in Corrientes (1992-1993) and as the Head of the Educational Services Department. His dedication to cultural heritage was further evident in his work within the Museums, Fine Arts, and Science Department of the Undersecretary of Fine Arts and Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture of Corrientes (1993).
