The online memorial, accessible through the Cheonan City website, allows citizens to offer virtual flowers and leave messages of remembrance for the 46 sailors who lost their lives in the 2010 tragedy.
To further honor the fallen heroes, Cheonan City has displayed memorial banners at the city hall and will host a memorial ceremony at Cheonan Veterans Park on March 28th. The ceremony will be attended by approximately 100 people, including bereaved family members, veterans’ organization leaders, and students from the deceased sailors’ alma maters.
