Asan City 4-H Federation Shines at Provincial Awards

Asan City, South Korea – The Asan City 4-H Federation has brought home top honors at the 44th Chungcheongnam-do 4-H Awards, recognizing its outstanding contributions to youth development and agricultural advancement.
The federation received the grand prize at the ceremony held on [Date] at the Gongju Agricultural Technology Center. Over 150 4-H club members from across Chungcheongnam-do gathered to celebrate the achievements of their peers and mentors.
The Asan City 4-H Federation has been instrumental in educating young people about the importance of agriculture and fostering a new generation of farmers. Through various programs and initiatives, the federation has encouraged youth to engage in agricultural activities and develop a deep appreciation for rural life.
In addition to the grand prize, several individuals from the Asan City 4-H Federation were recognized for their exceptional work. Kwon Ho-jin, the president of the federation, received a special award for his outstanding contributions to 4-H activities. Lee Gi-eun, the head of the Asan City 4-H headquarters, was honored with the leadership award, while Kang Ha-neul, the vice president, received a commendation from the provincial assembly. Han Mi-nyeo, a staff member at the Asan Agricultural Technology Center, was awarded the Star Mentor Award by the Korea 4-H Chungcheongnam-do Headquarters.
Kim Jeong-gyu, director of the Asan Agricultural Technology Center, expressed his gratitude for the federation's accomplishments. "We are delighted to see the Asan City 4-H Federation receive this well-deserved recognition," he said. "This award highlights the importance of youth involvement in agriculture and the positive impact that 4-H programs have on our communities."
The 4-H program, which stands for Head, Heart, Hands, and Health, is a youth development organization that provides opportunities for young people to learn about agriculture, leadership, citizenship, and healthy living. Through hands-on experiences, 4-H members develop life skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
