BNK Busan Bank announced on the 5th that it will revamp its regular deposit and savings products that offer preferential interest rates based on the performance of the professional baseball team, the Lotte Giants, after 18 years. This revision reflects customer feedback that the preferential interest rate condition, "advancement to the postseason," has become a "hope torture" due to the Lotte Giants' repeated failures to advance to the postseason since 2017.

Lotte Giants Recent Performance and Outlook:
The Lotte Giants have failed to advance to the postseason for seven consecutive seasons since the 2017 semi-playoffs. However, this year, they have reorganized the team around young hitters called the "Yoon Go Na Hwang Son," after recruiting manager Kim Tae-hyung. They are also aiming for postseason advancement by signing a new foreign pitcher, Tugger Davidson, and strengthening their pitching staff.
