The 'Korea-ASEAN Music Festival 2025 ROUND', hosted by KBS WORLD, supported by the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund (AKCF), and sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the ASEAN Secretariat, successfully concluded on June 21st and 22nd at ZEPP Kuala Lumpur in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Held in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia and the 2025 ASEAN Chair, to commemorate the 65th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Korea and Malaysia, the concert opened with enthusiastic participation from over 3,000 multinational audience members from host country Malaysia, all ten ASEAN nations, and Korea.
Banners and electronic displays promoting the ROUND Festival were installed in various locations, including Bukit Bintang, an MZ generation hotspot and pop culture hub near the Petronas Twin Towers, a symbol of Kuala Lumpur, welcoming artists and music fans. The day before the concert, an official welcoming event was held, where artists from various countries exchanged greetings and strengthened friendships amidst the warm hospitality of host country Malaysia, setting a festive global atmosphere.
