Around 150 Korean expatriates gathered in one place to support Coach Park Hang-seo's home debut for Kanchanaburi Power FC.

The Korean Association in Thailand (President Yoon Doo-seob) hosted an expatriate cheering event on September 13 to mark the occasion of Coach Park Hang-seo's home debut with Kanchanaburi Power FC. On this day, participants moved to Kanchanaburi using three chartered buses provided by the association from Wat That Thong in Ekkamai, as well as private vehicles.

Association executives and staff boarded the buses together to check the headcount of participants, provide drinks, and support the safe progress of the event. Before the match, the participants visited Kanchanaburi's representative historical landmark, the Bridge over the River Kwai, to look around the site before heading to the stadium.

At the stadium, specially produced uniforms catching attention with Coach Park Hang-seo's name and photo, alongside the red color symbolizing Kanchanaburi, stood out. Wearing the uniforms produced by Lee Hyung-bae, President of the Korean Veterans Association, the expatriates waved the Taegeukgi (South Korean flag) energetically to cheer for Coach Park Hang-seo and the players.

The match ended in a 0-0 draw against Chanthaburi FC, but the atmosphere became even more heated after the final whistle when Coach Park Hang-seo personally visited the cheering section to greet the expatriates.

In particular, Coach Park communicated with fans by taking individual photos with children for the expatriates who visited the stadium with their families. Participants sent loud applause to Coach Park's gesture, which gave unforgettable memories to the children.

The Korean Association in Thailand added meaning to the friendship and exchange between South Korea and Thailand by presenting Korean red ginseng products to the Kanchanaburi club owner (governor), the club representative, and Coach Park Hang-seo.

Despite the distance of over four hours round-trip, the 150 expatriates successfully concluded the cheering event by staying together from match viewing all the way to returning home. After the match, participants demonstrated mature civic awareness by cleaning up the stadium surroundings and leaving no trash behind.

Yoon Doo-seob, President of the Korean Association in Thailand, said, "Although we did not finish the match with a victory, it was a meaningful day as we could together cheer for Coach Park Hang-seo's new challenge," adding, "We will continue to support Coach Park's activities and pursue various activities to promote friendship between the Korean and Thai peoples.
