A prime piece of real estate in Seoul's affluent Seongbuk-dong district, owned by Chung Dae-sun, former CEO of HN Inc. and husband of former KBS announcer Noh Hyun-jung, has been placed under court-ordered auction.
Auction Details:
Land:Size: 604.0㎡ (183 pyeong)

1st Auction: Failed (February 27, 2025)
2nd Auction: 5.35 billion KRW (March 8, 2025)
Note: Only the land is subject to auction, as the building is registered under the name of Chung Il-sun, CEO of Hyundai BNG Steel.
Residence:Size: 228㎡ (69 pyeong)
Appraised Value: 2.69 billion KRW
1st Auction: Failed
2nd Auction: 2.15 billion KRW (March 8, 2025)
Reasons for Auction:
Forced auction by Pyeongtaek Savings Bank.
Related to the court receivership of HN Inc., where Chung Dae-sun was the majority shareholder.
Additional Information:
The land was originally owned by the late Chung Ju-yung, founder of the Hyundai Group, and was inherited by his grandson, Chung Dae-sun, in 2001.
HN Inc., a mid-sized construction company known for its brands "Sun & Ville" and "Herriott," filed for corporate rehabilitation in March 2023 due to financial difficulties.
Experts predict that the land auction may face challenges due to the discrepancy in ownership between the land and the building.
