On the 21st, Daewoo Engineering & Construction announced that it had been selected as the successful bidder for the mineral fertilizer plant project in Turkmenistan through an inquiry announcement by the Korea Exchange. However, he added that the exact contract amount and period will be confirmed in accordance with the construction contract at a later date.
Previously, the media reported that Daewoo Engineering & Construction had won a project worth 3 trillion won in Turkmenistan. In response, Daewoo Engineering & Construction officially confirmed the successful bid and announced that specific contract terms would be announced later.
Daewoo E&C expects that by winning this project order, it will be able to enter the Central Asian market in earnest and diversify its overseas business portfolio.
