According to the 'Status of School Deepfake False Video Damage' released by the Ministry of Education on the 21st, the number of students who were victims of deepfake from January this year to the 18th was a total of 841.
This is an increase of 27 people compared to the time of the survey on the 11th (814 people).
There were 33 teachers and 3 employees, the same as a week ago.
The total number of victims, including students and faculty, was 877.
The Ministry of Education has been investigating the status of deepfake damage to 17 provincial and provincial offices of education as deepfake sexual exploitation materials were widely distributed through Telegram group chat rooms, etc., causing controversy.
The number of deepfake damage reports totaled 533 from January to the 18th, an increase of 17 from a week ago.
Among these, the number of cases requested for investigation was 448, an increase of 16.
The number of cases linking support for deletion increased by 11 to 241.
